Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the Delta Air Lines SkyBonus program, also referred to as the "program". The SkyBonus program is designed to provide a special value for US Businesses (as definded herein) that spend less than $500,000 per year on Delta flights and for Foreign Businesses (as defined herein) which spend less than $100,000 on Delta flights. Participation in the program is conditioned upon acceptance of, and any awards granted under the program will be governed by, these Terms and Conditions, as well as by the rules and policies described on the SkyBonus Web site and any additional program rules or policies and procedures established by Delta from time to time with respect to the SkyBonus program (collectively, the “Program Rules”).

These Terms and Conditions or the Program Rules cannot be suspended, cancelled, modified or otherwise amended, except with the prior written consent of Delta. Delta reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions or the Program Rules. The SkyBonus program constitutes merely an invitation to companies that meet the qualifications set forth in the preceding paragraph to make offers for the acquisition of tickets or other awards on the Terms and Conditions stated herein and does not constitute a public offer. Delta reserves the exclusive right to accept or reject any offers made in response to the program. Companies with a Delta corporate sales agreement are not eligible to participate in the SkyBonus program.

Enrollment

Each company must enroll through the SkyBonus Web site at www.delta-skybonus.com. There is no charge to enroll in the SkyBonus program. Each company must designate one person (the "Program Administrator") who will administer the SkyBonus account as the company's representative. The Program Administrator is responsible for ensuring participating employees' adherence to the Terms and Conditions and the Program Rules.

Once the profile has been completed, the company will be assigned a unique SkyBonus number, which is comprised of the two digit country code followed by nine digits (e.g. - “US1234567689” or “FR987654321”). The Program Administrator is responsible for advising Delta of any changes in the company's information by updating the company profile on the Web site. Delta will not be responsible for lost, destroyed or misdirected mail or other communications, or any consequences thereof. Delta reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any company participating in the program or the eligibility of any ticket for which program credit is sought, which may include, but not necessarily be limited to, requiring sufficient proof of employment for passengers listed on tickets for which program credit is sought.

Accrual of Points & Bonus Offers

Only eligible tickets and coupons flown after date of enrollment are considered for credit in the program. Retroactive credit is allowed for a 2 year period for qualifying flights flown after your enrollment date. The company’s tickets can be eligible to earn SkyBonus points if the company's SkyBonus number is placed in the Tour Code field of the ticket at time of purchase by their travel agency, a Delta representative, or via delta.com or other participating online agencies.

In addition, tickets that were issued without the company's SkyBonus number can be submitted by the company's Program Administrator for SkyBonus credit by entering issued ticket numbers purchased by the company and used for company business into the SkyBonus Web site data page. This data will be extracted automatically and forwarded to Delta for processing. The company will be able to access updated account balances via the SkyBonus Web site. The company begins earning points immediately upon enrollment in the Program, for eligible revenue in each revenue category. Points are prorated based on the revenue in each category and rounded down to the nearest whole point. Delta will make every effort to post the appropriate points to the company's account weekly, based on the previous week's activity, but for some flights, the delay between the date of the flight and the account adjustment can be longer. Any retroactive claims (up to the date of enrollment) for points earned must be processed by the company’s Program Administrator on the Web site. If the SkyBonus number was not on your ticket, simply Log In and select the How We Track Your Tickets page and input the ticket into the ticket number form . If the amount of points earned is disputed, Delta reserves the right to require proof of travel, including but not limited to, copies of ticket coupons for flights claimed to have been flown or copies of ticket receipts or similar documentation. Tickets that are excluded from the accrual of points will be highlighted on the Account Status page in the Comments section. Delta reserves the right to deny claims for points if the ticket numbers have not been entered correctly into the data page. Each company employee may continue to accrue mileage in his or her individual SkyMiles program account when travel occurs by the individual, subject to the SkyMiles Program Rules and conditions. SkyBonus awards are separate from any SkyMiles awards and may not be combined with SkyMiles awards.

Special Bonus Offers: From time to time Delta will offer the opportunity for members to earn bonus points for specific types of flights and for specific time periods. These bonuses are highlighted by links in the SkyBonus For You section to a detailed page containing the type, amount, and duration. To be eligible for the bonuses, flights must be flown within the time period stated. The bonus details will specify if the bonus is: nonstop or without flight connections; RT - Round Trip; OW - One Way; "travel between" two cities (travel originating either city to the other city); "travel originating" from a city (includes only travel "from" that city, not travel "to" that city); flight specific travel (only for indicated flight number). Unless otherwise noted, fare classes are as follows: First class - FA; BusinessElite® - JCDI; Coach class - all other fares. If no fare class is mentioned, all SkyBonus eligible fares are included in the bonus. Industry standard airport codes are generally used to abbreviate cities. All other terms and conditions stated in the bonus offer will also apply. Bonuses will be processed according to the Program Rules.

Redemption of Points for Awards

With any program award, the Program Administrator will receive specific information relating to the award and applicable Terms and Conditions for redemption. The awards may be utilized by the Program Administrator or allocated to any person designated by the Program Administrator. SkyBonus flight authorization numbers are valid for one year from date of issue. Flight authorization numbers are considered redeemed once issued and cannot be redeposited.

Upgrade Awards

Award upgrades issued by Delta in connection with the SkyBonus program may be utilized by the Program Administrator or allocated to any person designated by the Program Administrator. Upgrades that are issued as a SkyBonus award may not be combined with SkyBonus or SkyMiles program tickets. Delta may limit the seats available for upgrades to any and all destinations and may allocate no upgrade award seats on certain flights. SkyBonus upgrade authorization numbers are valid for one year from date of issue. Award authorization numbers are considered redeemed once issued and cannot be redeposited.

Restrictions

Failure to comply with the Program Rules or the Terms and Conditions applicable to any SkyBonus award, use of the SkyBonus number by unauthorized persons, abuse of the program privileges, fraud, or misrepresentation of any information furnished to Delta or its affiliates, by anyone acting in connection with the program may result in termination of eligibility and participation in the program, forfeiture of all awards and benefits earned, and termination of the offending person’s participation in benefit under the SkyMiles program. Participating companies that do not have Delta flown revenue greater than $5,000 USD or the equivalent in other currencies per calendar year may be de-enrolled from the program. Any program points accrued will be forfeited should minimum activity level not be reached.

All awards and other benefits of the program are offered at the discretion of Delta, and Delta has the right to terminate the SkyBonus program, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice. Delta may among other things, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any award or award level; modify or amend these Terms and Conditions or the Program Rules or policies and procedures; increase credit requirements; modify or regulate the transferability of awards; make changes affecting partner affiliations or benefits; or limit the number of seats available to any or all destinations. Awards may not be eligible for redemption or use to all destinations or on all flights. Delta reserves the right to establish additional means of accruing program awards.

Travel agencies, wholesalers, consolidators, and other sellers of travel are not eligible to participate in this program. Program awards may not be used in conjunction with any other Delta promotions, including but not limited to negotiated fares, group fares, meeting fares, promotional fares, discount coupons, SkyMiles awards, upgrades, mileage accrual or any other fares covered under existing Delta Corporate Sales agreements or Delta Meeting Network agreements. SkyBonus awards are void where prohibited by law. The program and program awards are subject to all government regulations. Earned travel and upgrades cannot be combined. Accrued awards do not constitute property of the Program Administrator or the Program Administrator's company. Delta will not be responsible for any taxes, duties or other obligations resulting from participation in the SkyBonus program. The sale or barter of any SkyBonus flight authorization number, upgrade, or other award by the company receiving the award or its representative is prohibited. Flight authorization numbers, tickets or upgrades obtained through prohibited sale or barter transactions are VOID, invalid of travel, and will be confiscated. Persons trying to use such tickets will not be permitted to travel unless they purchase a ticket from Delta at the applicable fare.
